Group 7even, an integrated marketing agency out of Valparaiso, has just been named the new agency of record for the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD).
NICTD operates the South Shore Line that runs from South Bend, IN, to Chicago, IL, with stops along the way. The South Shore Line is used by commuters and leisure travelers. As NICTD’s new agency of record, Group 7even will be utilizing strategic marketing to increase ridership on the South Shore Line.
NICTD put out a Request for Proposals (RFP) in late 2015. After a several month review and interview process, Group 7even was awarded the account.
“We are very excited to join the team at the South Shore Line. They have already done a lot of great work, and we are looking forward to working hand-in-hand to push their marketing efforts even further. We consider this important work because it not only affects the quality of people’s lives but also plays a major role in the economic development of the region,” said Michelle Andres, President of Group 7even.
“Group 7even’s foundation in strategy as well as their use of cutting-edge techniques made them the best choice for us,” said John Parsons, Director of Marketing and Planning, NICTD. “Michelle and her team understood our vision right away and have the experience and the expertise to help us reach our goals.”
Andres added, “Whether it’s for leisure travel or commuting to work, the South Shore Line is an amazing resource right in our backyard. We are hitting the ground running and looking forward to introducing the train to people who don’t know what a gem it is!”
